Amazing weather today as we took a group of cadets to Tinker Air-force Base. Fun new experiences and knowledge that our cadets got to bask in !

Our last OU football game of the 2021/2022 school year.
The end of an era for our seniors, thank you for 4 years of continuous hard work and leadership for the young cadets to look up to !
We were up before the sun came up for this game, and we all ended our day with all smiles and great memories made ! Thank you to Sarge, Colonel and every cadet that has helped us get to the finish line with OU concessions we appreciate you !

COAFJROTC Trip #1 in the books !
This weekend our corps took a trip to Dallas Texas.
We attended the Army vs Air Force football game, took a trip to Galleria Mall, and Sunday morning went on down to Six Flags Over Texas !
Our corps has not been on a trip in two years and our seniors showed excellent leadership in how things run smoothly in our activities.
Thank you to all of the cadets who attended and made memories to last a lifetime we appreciate you !

Great night for JROTC !
Our ColorGuard got to attend the thunder game last night and put our hard work on display ! Thank you to the cadets that attended and held our name to high standards !

Getting the ball back in motion has been such an easy task to accomplish with such a great core !
To all of our fellow cadets, there’s always a place for you in any activity, event, staff position, and an after school activity. Just get involved and ask questions and we’ll find the right spot for you !
Thank you to everyone that continues to put in the time for our AFJROTC program to shine.

A few of our cadets had the pleasure to attend PCO’s dining out ceremony. Three cadets along with Mater Sergeant were sent to the Grog bowl as a punishment for breaking the rules to the mess. After a night of eating and failed attempts to send the rest of the crew to the Grog, it was time to go home. Thank so much Putnam City Original and Vast for having us! As always, it’s been an honor!

2020 SENIOR SHOUT OUT
Caet Jahre White was a part of our corps for two and a half years. During his time with us he was a member of the Drill Team, Marksmanship Team, and our Kitty Hawk Air Society for a year each. He spent his senior year as Charlie Flight's Deputy Commander.
His favorite memory from AFJROTC is just being a part of the corps.
After high school he plans to complete basic training and begin his career in the U.S. Navy.
His advice to underclassmen is: "Enjoy high school while you have time because when it’s over it’s over!"

2020 SENIOR SHOUT OUT
Cadet Cristal Sustaita was a part of our corps for four year. During her time with us she acted as our Drill Team Commander for a year. She was also a member of our Drill Team for two years and a Kitty Hawk Air Society member for one year.
Her favorite memory from AFJROTC is the Change of Command Ceremony, where she was able to pass her staff rope to the new Drill Team Commander.
After high school she plans to attend OSU and pursue a degree in Allied Health.
Her advice to underclassmen is:" Get involved, in everything! whether it’s drill, clubs, sports etc. High school goes by in the blink of an eye, in the end you only regret the chances you didn’t take!"

2020 SENIOR SHOUT OUT
Cadet Miguel Sanchez was a part of our corps for four years. During his time with us, he was a member of our Marksmanship team for a year and a Kitty Hawk Air Society member for a year.
His favorite memory in AFJROTC is the Florida trip his Sophomore year.
After high school he plans to attend OU and pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering.
His advice to underclassmen is: "Ask your seniors for help with the uniform!"
