Grammy's playlist of life
An Old lady getting through life
Just a look at life through my eyes

06/30/2022

Yesterday, I took Echo swimming and met one of the sweetest people Barbara...
we were in the pool doing our own thing. These two ladies come over to swim. Suddenly Echo notice that the lady was an amputee, Grammy she her leg is missing loudly I am sure everyone in the world heard her. I immediately was embarrassed not because of what she said but cause everyone heard her. To her it was a noticing the lady was different. I quickly made her apologize, then turned to her and apologized to her. Afraid that she may have been offended I began to explain that Echo had probably never saw anyone with an amputation. She just smiled and said she gets that a lot from kids. As we swam in the pool, We continued to talk about grandkids. Barbara smiled and says My grandbabies are used to seeing her. Thats how she gets her grandbabies to eat their veggies, I tell them I didn't eat my veggies and my leg fell right off. We both began laughing I told her that was a brilliant idea maybe I could use that on Echo. Kindness starts with a smile and a little understanding. I had originally planned on swimming for about an hour but I was in good company so we left at closing.
Hope your having a blessed day out there!

One of the first things all human beings (regardless of political/religious beliefs) should be Thankful for is our Veterans, all first responders, farmers, truckers and healthcare workers. No matter where you are in the world, you are the ones that Inspire us you truly are the backbone of this country. Veterans give us the Freedoms we enjoy! One thing I want to teach you, is Respect. Respect your Elders, they have been around this crazy world and might have learned a thing or two. With Fourth of July coming up soon I feel like this playlist is a must hear for everyone just a reminder of what was lost and gained due to sacrifices made by extraordinary Ordinary people. In my eyes Americans are like a Family, yes, we can say or do what you want but when it comes down to it Don't mess with family cause we will come together and rise up rebuild and come over and KICK YOUR ASS... THANK A VETERAN not just on the days they are recognized which in my opinion is not enough.. This Playlist is dedicated to my late Sargent Larry E Widener (peepaw) and all our vets out there.. Listen up... I know there are many songs but these are some of my favorites.. COMMENT some of your favorites.... Play list #1 = tribute to our Veterans 🫶https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxZbSL4V3yCdaiGsK79WamD65vQfZLewf
