The Ann Lacy School is so proud of our Costume Designer Jessica Olson Telfer! She was invited to give presentations at two conferences in Athens, Greece this summer:

⭐️Costuming the Elements: Creating Costumes that Convey a Sensation rather than Character at the 17th Annual International Conference of Visual and Performing Arts hosted by the Athens Institute for Education and Research
⭐️Arts as Service: Costuming Children in the Community for the 21st Annual Arts in Society Conference hosted by Common Ground Scholars and the National Kapodestrian University of Athens

We’re so thankful for all that Jessica does for our students, our productions, and the arts community. We are thrilled to see her work recognized on an international stage! ✨

Dean Mel virtually surprised dance performance alumna Dena Mabry (second from right and surrounded by OCU alums and Todd James) during her recital to announce Dena will be recognized for her distinguished career in dance education. Stay tune for details. The presentation will take place in March during the Star Dance Company’s production of Move! We would love all of Dena’s students past and present to come celebrate with us! ⭐️
