This week, Trinity School had the distinct honor of welcoming Daniel Hamlin, Secretary of Education of Oklahoma, alongside Brian Bobek, Director of the Office of Faith-Based & Community Initiatives, for a visit to our campus.
Seeing state leaders walk our halls, sit with our students, and witness firsthand what intentional, individualized education looks like for children with learning differences was both humbling and energizing.
Secretary Hamlin shared, "Trinity School is doing exceptional work serving students with diverse learning needs and helping each child reach his or her full potential. I am grateful to the school leadership team and dedicated teachers at the school for demonstrating what is possible through their commitment, care, and unwavering focus on students."
Trinity serves students across nine counties in Oklahoma. Students who often arrive multiple grade levels behind and leave with confidence, capability, and a community that knows them by name. Visits like this remind us why advocacy, awareness, and alignment between schools and state leadership matter so much for the families we serve.
We are grateful for Secretary Hamlin's and Director Bobek's time, their curiosity, and their commitment to expanding educational opportunity for all Oklahoma students.
Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day, a reminder that every student deserves access to an education that helps them learn, grow, and thrive!
At Trinity, accessibility means more than accommodations - it means creating an environment where students are understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. We celebrate the unique strengths of every learner and remain committed to providing opportunities that help each student succeed.
Together, we're building a community where every child belongs.
