At Dove Virtual Academy, learning doesn’t stop when the school week ends.

This Saturday, we had the opportunity to meet with our Class of 2027 students at Starbucks in Ardmore, Oklahoma, for meaningful conversations about their futures. Together, we began working on their Individual Career Academic Plans (ICAPs), discussing college pathways, career goals, and the steps they can take today to prepare for tomorrow.

These face-to-face moments are an important part of what makes Dove Virtual Academy unique. As a statewide virtual school, we are committed to building strong relationships with our students while providing personalized guidance that helps every learner discover their path to success.

The College Board has officially released the schedule for the 2027 AP Exams. Mark your calendars and start planning ahead!

🗓️ Exam Window: May 3–7 & May 10–14, 2027

🔑 Key Highlights:
Week 1 Starts May 3: Kickoff includes exams like Human Geography, Physics C: Mechanics, Biology, and US Government & Politics.

Week 2 Starts May 10: Features Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, English Language, and Psychology.

Important Start Time Changes: Starting in 2027, AP Exam start times in certain international regions have been adjusted to keep exam content secure across time zones. (For most US schools, exams remain at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM local time).

A virtual school year brings incredible flexibility, unique opportunities for self-paced growth, and a wonderful way to learn in an environment where your student can truly thrive. We are fully committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and connected online community for every single student.

To help ensure a smooth and successful start for everyone, we will be hosting our Dove Virtual Academy Student Orientation from August 5th through August 11th.

This student orientation is a fantastic opportunity to:

Get comfortable navigating our online learning platforms and portals.

Ensure your technology, software, and login credentials are set up and ready to go.

Learn tips and tricks for creating an effective learning space at home.

Most importantly: Have your students' picture taken for their student ID

Summer may be in full swing, but learning, mentoring, and supporting our students never take a break! ☀️📚

While our Class of 26 seniors enjoyed a fun summer melting activity together, Mr. Asad traveled to Tulsa to meet with Abraham and check in on his summer alumni projects. It’s always inspiring to see our graduates continuing to grow, stay engaged, and work toward their goals.
