Developing Talent:

Life Skills That Matter

Your bright child has the intelligence necessary to achieve – but what about the soft skills? What abilities must children have to be successful, not just in school but in the world? And how do you support the development of those skills so that your gifted student flourishes into adulthood?

Necessary aptitudes include:

· Openness to new experiences

· Self-efficacy

· Growth mindset

· Emotional regulation/mood management

· Recognizing the difference between excellence and perfection

· Coping skills for stress/anxiety

· Ability to participate in civil discourse and debate

· Ability to handle competition and constructive criticism

· Walking the line between fitting in and demonstrating intelligence

Teens and parents - come and learn more about the importance of growth beyond the classroom!

This FREE presentation is open to the public.
