ANA-Michigan ANA-Michigan is a vital community of professional nurses in Michigan.

10/16/2026

This month’s message from ANA-Michigan President Bethany Campbell (she/her) looks a little different.

Instead of our usual Top 3, she’s sharing one important reminder: nurses have a powerful voice and voting is one way we can use it!
The decisions made at every level of government can impact our profession, our patients, and the communities we serve.

Make your voice heard this election season! 🗳️

Thinking about publishing your work but not sure how to get started?

Early in your nursing career, it can be hard to know what comes next.
Sometimes, the most helpful thing is simply having a conversation with someone who has been there before.

That is the idea behind Passing the Stethoscope: Nursing Wisdom Across Generations, ANA-Michigan’s Flash Mentoring Series.

If you are in the first five years of your nursing career, join us November 5 to connect with nurses across generations, hear different perspectives and gain insight as you navigate your own path in nursing.

Mentorship is one of the most powerful ways we strengthen the nursing profession. ANA-Michigan Nursing Practice Committee member Heather Grein, MSN, RN, AGACNP-BC shares why mentoring is essential for supporting nurses at every stage of their careers.
Whether you're an experienced nurse ready to guide others or someone seeking support and encouragement, mentorship creates opportunities for growth, learning, and lasting impact.

Ready to make meaningful connections? We're excited to kick off our first Flash Mentoring session on November 5 with a focus on early career nurses. If you're within your first five years of practice, this conversation is designed for you. Explore career opportunities, navigate common challenges, and connect with experienced nurses who have been where you are and are ready to share their insights.
