🐣 COME SEE THE CHICK INCUBATOR AT THE OKFUSKEE COUNTY FREE FAIR! 🐣

Have you ever wondered how a chick develops inside an egg? Come Learn • Explore • Discover with us at the Okfuskee County Free Fair, September 10–12! 🎉

Our OSU Extension Office will have a chick incubator on display, with eggs hatching throughout the fair! 🥚🐥 Visitors can also explore learning materials about the chick embryology process and see how a chick develops from egg to hatchling.

👀 Come check the incubator throughout the fair and see how many eggs hatch!

Archery Practices will be this Thursday August 27th at 7:00 PM at the Okfuskee County Fairgrounds in Okemah for archery practice!

🌟 We're Looking for 4-H Club Leaders! 🌟

Do you have a passion for helping youth learn, grow, and succeed? Okfuskee County 4-H is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as Club Leaders for the Okemah 4-H Club and Weleetka 4-H Club!

As a 4-H Club Leader, you'll have the opportunity to:
🍀 Make a positive impact in the lives of local youth
🍀 Help members develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills
🍀 Create fun, hands-on learning experiences
🍀 Support the next generation in your community

No previous 4-H experience is required—we'll provide the training and resources you need!

🎡 It's Almost Fair Time! 🐄🌽🎉

The Okfuskee County Free Fair is just around the corner! Join us September 10–12 to showcase your hard work, cheer on exhibitors, and enjoy one of our county's favorite traditions.

📅 Important Dates:
📦 Indoor Project Drop-Off
• Wednesday, September 9 | 4:30–8:00 PM
• Thursday, September 10 | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

🐖 Animal Shows
📍 Saturday, September 12
🕙 Beginning at 10:00 AM

📚 Fair Books are available now at the Okfuskee County OSU Extension Office.

🏅 Indoor projects will be released at NOON on Saturday, September 12.

We can't wait to see all of the amazing projects and livestock our exhibitors have worked so hard on this year. Best of luck to everyone participating—we'll see you at the fair! 🍀🎉
