Okeechobee High School Girls Lacrosse

When I first came from Vero, I was an uncertified teacher, just starting a new chapter in my personal life, and I had no idea what this journey would become.

What I found here was more than just a job—I found a team, a family, and a group of young women who gave me purpose every single day.

Together, we built something from the ground up. This program didn’t just happen—it was created through your hard work, your commitment, your resilience, and your belief in something bigger than yourselves.

Over time, my life has changed. I’ve grown into a coach, a mentor, a wife, and now a mother of two beautiful girls. But one thing that has never changed is how much this team has meant to me.

Each of you has impacted me in ways you may never fully understand. You’ve challenged me, supported me, and reminded me every day why I love this game and why I love coaching.

What we built here will last. The culture, the standard, the fight—that belongs to you now. Protect it. Grow it. Be proud of it.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s just see you later. And no matter where I go, I will always be rooting for you.

Disappointed that tonight’s game was rained out. Our girls were ready to battle, but the field conditions made it unsafe to play.

We made the best of it with an Easter egg hunt and some great team bonding. This is truly an amazing group of girls.

Moved back to 6pm due to officials

Locker room at 3:30, and departure at 4pm.

These two seniors started together and finished together. It has been an honor to be your coach. May all your wishes come true.

Thank you for all that you have done over the years for the program. You both are truly remarkable ladies and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

Too all those seniors out there! We need more coaches, we need more refs, we need small little kids clinics where you teach others the sport you love. Your mission isn’t over. It’s just begun.

Come out tomorrow night to help us celebrate our two amazing Seniors. These two started with each other and are ending their careers together. 💜💛🥍

Difficult loss tonight. Missing a few key players, but the girls battled against Sebastian River. We got better, because of them.

Dee Lester had 13 saves on the day
Camila Sims & Lillie Bandi both had two goals each

Only a few more days to help us reach our goal.

As most of you know, we must raise every dollar to help keep the program running.
