“I never knew this was possible.”

“This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.”

“I wish more people could see this.”

Those were just a few of the things we heard today.

Our Cob Camp learners spent the afternoon exploring Sage Stoneman’s extraordinary cob home—a place where architecture, art, engineering, ecology, and imagination all come together.

They wandered through hand-sculpted walls, looked up at a beautifully crafted timber roof, explored winding paths and hidden spaces, met a very friendly dog, and discovered that homes can be built in ways they had never imagined.

The best part wasn’t simply seeing something unusual. It was watching children realize that the world is bigger than they thought—that there are countless ways to create, build, and live.

Thank you, Sage, for opening your home and generously sharing your work with our community. We have a feeling these conversations are just getting started. 🌿🤎

King of the Dragon Bench. 👑🦎

Thorn couldn’t resist checking out our new dragon cob bench—and honestly, we think he approved. 💛

After spending the day watching learners mix mud, sculpt scales, and bring a dragon to life, our resident bearded dragon climbed aboard to claim his throne.

Moments like these are why we love what we do. Nature, creativity, animals, and children all coming together to create something magical.

Here’s to muddy hands, curious hearts, and dragons—both real and imagined. 🐉✨

🌿 Big things are growing at Rock Tree Sky! 🌿

This week we’re giving our campus a fresh new foundation with beautiful new landscaping—and we couldn’t be more excited.

At the same time, our Cob Camp learners are literally shaping the landscape by building a cob gathering space with their own hands. There’s something pretty special about watching children help create the places where they’ll learn, play, imagine, and connect.

Every improvement to our campus is an investment in our community and in the experiences our learners will have for years to come. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back this fall to see it all come together.

🌿 Get muddy. Build something that matters.

There’s still time to join us for Cob Camp next week!

Together we’ll mix clay, sand, straw, and water to build a real cob bench that will become a lasting part of our campus. Along the way we’ll create mosaics, learn natural building techniques, make new friends, and experience the joy of creating something meaningful together.

We’re so excited to share our upcoming summer camp offerings—created for both children and families to play, create, explore, and connect in a warm, inspiring environment. 🌿✨

For our youngest learners, summer camp days are filled with hands-on art, sensory play, outdoor adventures, movement, friendship, and the kind of meaningful childhood magic summer should be made of.
