After the Thomas Fire took our beloved Ropes Course, we’re thrilled to see this area coming back to life with lots of love from our friends at Outward Bound Adventures

Grupo Chicomecoatl Community Altar Open Hours at T**a Institute ✨

T**a Institute welcomes the community to an extended observance held on the land at T**a Institute under the cultural leadership of Elena Rios and Grupo Chicomecoatl – Danza Azteca Chichimeca chicomecoatl.danzaazteca

Rather than a single-day celebration, the season unfolds over several weeks through the tending of a community ofrenda, cultural teachings, ceremony, Danza Azteca Chichimeca, music, food, and time together on the land. At the heart of the tradition is an understanding of death as a sacred transition and a continuation of relationship with our ancestors and loved ones.

🦋 Community Visiting Days:

Visit the Dias Los Mu***os altar, add your offerings, and sit with the land as part of this extended season of honoring ancestors. Open to the public.

Sundays 10am - 2pm
Tuesdays 5pm - 7pm

Visitors are encouraged to bring copies of photographs and small mementos of loved ones or pets who have made their sacred transition to place on the ofrenda. Flowers and other appropriate offerings may also be brought in consultation with the attendant.
