All PRE ORDERED yearbooks will be handed out at lunch on Monday!
Starting Tuesday, all remaining yearbooks will be available for purchase on a first come first serve basis.

Students and teachers have been gearing up for State Testing which is starting next week. Please help your student to prepare by getting a good night's sleep and making sure that their chromebooks are charged and brought to school daily. Thanks to our Matilija Middle School PTO for sponsoring testing snacks in classrooms and for sponsoring the special testing incentive ice cream treats for the next two weeks! To get everyone in the spirit, we will also be having special dress up days for the next two weeks! We hope everyone will join in on the fun!

Special thanks to our PTO for a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week!

All of the teachers and staff were spoiled this week by the Matilija Middle School PTO with two amazing lunches, baked goods, and gifts. We feel the love!

The Matilija Advanced Band joined the Nordhoff Symphonic Band this morning in preparation for their joint performance at our upcoming concert on Thursday, May 18 at Libbey Bowl. The high schoolers were very impressed by our middle school musicians - and I think even got them. Mr. Wagner shared a couple of pics from our rehearsal. See if you can spot some of your students and join us at the Bowl for some wonderful music!

Next week is teacher appreciation week! Please join us in celebrating our wonderful teaching staff at Matilija Middle School. You would be amazed at how much joy just a little note of appreciation means to the people who dedicate themselves to our students in this beautiful valley.

Congratulations to the Matilija Advanced Band and their Director, Mr. Bill Wagner for their outstanding performance at this weekend’s Music in the Parks festival! These outstanding Eagles earned 1st place and Superior rating!

Boots, hats, flannels, and denim today for Wild West Spirit Day! Tomorrow is "anything but a backpack"!

Congratulations to John Ruf for being recognized by the Ojai Rotary Club as a "Service Before Self" award recipient for Matilija Middle School. John is an active member of the Matilija Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society and Interact Club.
