Ojai Valley School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school serving almost 300 students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade in beautiful Ojai, California. OVS provides a program of strong academics, fine and performing arts, sports, outdoor education, environmental studies, equestrian, and character development. The Lower Campus, near downtown Ojai, serves students in grades pre-k
indergarten to 8. The Upper Campus, located seven miles to the east, serves students in grades 9 to 12. The academic program on both campuses is challenging and well-rounded, encouraging students to explore their interests, know themselves, and develop a respect for others. Students participate in outdoor education, equestrian, fine and performing arts programs, as well as athletics and community service. Our campuses benefit from a diverse group of students whose cultures and experiences enrich the lives our entire community. Students hail from places like China, Japan, Finland, Germany, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States and more. Both campuses offer English as a Second Language instruction. In addition to our academic year programs, OVS also offers a rich Summer Camp program, for students ages 3 to 15, for 6 weeks each summer. Students can take advantage of specialty camps including equestrian, performing arts, fine arts, robotics, outdoor adventures, and more.
