Former OVS history and French teacher Gary D**kins has donated a print of his most recent watercolor to this year’s OVS Gala and Auction!
It’s a vibrant painting of Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride, Colorado. It’s framed and ready for your bidding!
Gary’s artwork is featured and sold through Restoration Hardware, and his prints have been popular auction items for the past decade.

THANK YOU to the volunteers who launched our 2025-26 Annual Fund Ambassador program!
The time, energy, and support they’ve devoted have helped us raise nearly $250,000 so far.

Throughout the first semester, these Ambassadors led our outreach efforts to connect with families across the grade levels. We are deeply grateful to the families who have contributed. This strong start builds meaningful momentum as we expand our outreach into the spring for alumni, grandparents, foundations and friends of OVS.

The 2025-26 Annual Fund runs from September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026. Contributions support priorities across both campuses. Every gift — of any size — makes a difference and is fully tax-deductible.

Sarah Silver (L11, U15) and Kendall Shiffman (L12, U16) stopped by the Lower and Upper Campuses earlier this week! They looked at old photos, reminisced about playing volleyball, and met up with their old teachers — the Gartrells, Mr. Wallace, Mr. Rowan, Mr. Street, Mr. Alvarez, Mr. Floyd and others.
