Some watercolor sketches from my sketchbook. These are Plein air. Doing these in the natural setting begins to train my eye to see and interpret color. The immediate experience of the setting engages the senses with direct impressions.

Bert is always encouraging me, Renita, to try new things. I appreciate her optimistic and venturesome personality.
We celebrated Bert's 88th birthday today with a lunch and dessert. Very lively lovely time.
