Kindergarten had a busy week. They finally finished building their community. They had fun making some Halloween characters, the fire truck came for a visit, and they finished the week with the Homecoming parade and lots of candy.

Homecoming week is quickly approaching, and our Junior Class is getting ready to work "9 to 5" to make this year's float the absolute best!

We are so excited to celebrate this school tradition, and we would love your help to make it truly unforgettable. If you are able to pitch in, we are looking for a few key things to get our Dolly Parton-themed float rolling:

A Truck & Trailer: We are looking for a volunteer with a truck and trailer who wouldn't mind driving our junior class along the parade route.

"Throw" Donations: We need fun items to toss to the crowd! We would be incredibly grateful for donations of individually wrapped candy, t-shirts, small toys, or anything else you are willing to share.

Theme Posters: Our official theme is Dolly Parton’s "9 to 5"! If you and your junior want to channel your inner country star and create a poster for the float, please feel free to get creative and make one!

Please have donations brought to the school by Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026.

Anyone willing to drive us around please let me know, April Melton. You can contact me at the school at 918-862-0389 ext. 503 or email me at [email protected]

Thank you so much for your incredible support and for helping us make these high school memories so special for our kids. Anything you are willing to donate or help with is appreciated more than you know!

We received, for the second time, a grant program from the Discovery Lab! They came to us the past two Fridays and we get to visit the Discovery Lab in the Spring! Enjoy the photos! The kids loved every minute of it!
