Just catching up on a few happenings at OCCA!
Making ice cream, studying rocks and fossils, (Mrs. Hartzo shared her real dinosaur fossils with the students!) buddy reading to find story elements, celebrating March birthdays, and building island dioramas! We should be picking our strawberries soon! (Pictures coming!)
Excited about next school year and all the possibilities!! God is good!

We ended our week with a Thanksgiving feast on Thursday. Thank you to all our parents, staff, volunteers and students for pitching in and making it such a great day. We love our school!!

Day four of Spirit week at OCCA was Tacky Day! We had some pretty tacky kids this morning! BUT, most had changed clothes by lunchtime!😂

SPIRIT WEEK- DAY 2-Dress to Impress

Trying our hand at hydroponics! Totally new to me but we are excited to try it. We planted Buttercrunch and Romaine lettuce seeds both in our indoor machines and in our raised planter outside on the same day. We made our hypothesis about which one we thought would germinate first and grow the fastest. We will record our data and then determine whether our guess was right or wrong. But, TWO days after planting, we have sprouts already in our hydroponic machines! Stay tuned for more pictures and the outcomes!
