5 teams compete at the Division II level--Men's Basketball, Golf, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball.

The IVCC Women's Tennis Team Makes a Strong Showing at Region 4 Tournament!!! Despite falling short of National Qualification, the team demonstrated remarkable teamwork and individual effort. We commend this season's team, led by Co-Captains Emma Walker and Charlee Bourell, and coached by Julie Milota, with assistance from Mike Dobrose and Clara Ferrari. Team members Marisa Vickers, Syria Zuniga, Mina James, Alex Mahan, and Briana Keith displayed exceptional dedication. The team is pictured below. Final tournament standings were:
1. Moraine Valley - 23 points,
2. McHenry CC - 18 points,
3. Elgin CC - 12.5 points,
4. Illinois Valley CC - 9 points
5. Sauk Valley CC - 4 points,
6. Lake County - 1 point
7- 8th Milwaukee Area & Waubonsee - 0 points.

The women's tennis team wrapped up their last match today from 10-2 at LP Complex, a key lead-up to the Region IV Tournament on October 11-12th. Although the final score was 4-5, the outcome was intensely contested and could have been 5-4. The team's resilience and tenacity will drive our continued hard work and preparation.

Tonight's match at Streator High School against Moraine Valley Community College was intensely competitive. We fell just four games short of victory, and I am deeply proud of our team's resilience. Our appreciation goes to Coach Kaye of Streator Tennis for facilitating our use of the courts. The final outcome hung in the balance, with doubles losses on two courts decided by the slimmest of margins, ultimately denying us a 5-4 win.
Our final score was 3-6.

IVCC WOMEN'S TENNIS WON OUR FIRST HOME MATCH 7-2 !!!!
A special recognition to past Streator tennis players, now IVCC Eagles, securing six victories for the IVCC Tennis Team today. Streator HS girls' coach, Kaye Tallier, was present to cheer on her former players, impressed by their achievements.
