๐ First Week of School โ Weโre Getting There! ๐โค๏ธ
Our first week of school was definitely a bumpy start, but it was also a good one. We are incredibly grateful that we were able to welcome our students back with the help and support of so many people and school communities.
A very special thank you to American Horse School, Little Wound School, OST, WKDS, and Oelrichs School for stepping up and volunteering their buses and support when we needed it most. Your willingness to help our students and our school community during a difficult time means more than words can express. This is what community is all about. โค๏ธ
Our Transportation Department has been working extremely hard to get our buses repaired and safely back on the road. We are making progress, and we are getting thereโbut these things take time. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our transportation staff as they continue working to get everything back in order.
As educators, we teach our students about perseverance, resilience, and never giving up when things get difficult. This past week has given us a real-life example of those lessons. We may have faced challenges, but we continued moving forward together. ๐ช๐ฝ
To our parents and families, thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility during this first week. We know transportation has created challenges and adjustments for many families, and we truly appreciate your support as we work through this situation.
We are thankful for our students, staff, families, and the school communities who have stood beside us. We are getting thereโone day, one bus, and one step at a time.
Hereโs to a great school year ahead! โค๏ธ๐๐
Together, we persevere. Together, we move forward.
