Here's my advertisement for running for school board this fall. I really want to be involved at the Ogilvie School as much as I can be these last two years that Isaiah has left. A huge priority for me I want to help address is mental health awareness for students as well as staff. Mental Health is something you can't necessarily see or hear or even know someone is struggling with. Many of you may not know, for example, that while Monica worked for the school as a Para, she battled mental health on a regular basis. It was a part or our daily lives for the 20 years we were married. One of my goals is to utilize programs like https://yellowribbon.org/ or other community based programs in schools to help bring awareness and resources to students and staff who are struggling who need them.

This right here, is why some schools have the problems they do. As a leader of Ogilvie School I would ensure that there are equal rights for all students and this would never happen, making a girl feel uncomfortable dressing or un******ng in front of someone. Everyone should have equal rights to privacy.

My high school punished when I spoke up and said a male shouldn’t be allowed to watch me undress. The school didn’t care that this made me uncomfortable.

Hello and welcome to all of you visiting this page. I created this page as a way to interact with people about their concerns or praises for the Ogilvie School Board and how some of those concerns might be able to get addressed after the election in November 2023. I also created this so those community members who don't know me can learn more about me and what I stand for.

I have my slogan as "Voss Is Your Voice" because I am Your Voice for the People! The Voice for the Comman Man and Woman! The Voice for the Community- the farmer, the single mom, the single dad, the stay at home mom, the business owner, and most importantly the voice for the students and families of Ogilvie Public School.

I have went to Ogilvie Public School for 13 yrs and graduated in 1998. I am a lifelong resident of Ogilvie and have seen this community change drastically in the last 41 years I have been here. I have raised our children here with my wife Monica for the last 20 years and have one daughter who already graduated from OHS and a son who will as well. Monica also worked in the Ogilvie School as a Para Professional for several years so I will constantly have her best interest as well as all the other Paras and employees of the Ogilvie School. I am the former owner of The Fish House Coffee Shop in Mora and currently own my Marketing Agency, Action Impact Marketing Solutions. I have also worked in management for large corporations such as Caribou Coffee and Verizon Wireless. I am a college graduate with a degree in Health & Exercise Sciences as well as went to school for Business Administration.

I believe there can be a Better School, Better Results and a Better use of tax payer dollars in certain areas to create a Better Community for us all. I would like to be an Ogilvie School Board member to serve the community and give back to the community that raised me.
