Our Halloween week is off to a great start!

Our fall sensory table has been an amazing hit for nearly a month and a half now!

Our little friends have spent countless hours exploring their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, language skills and so much more!

For my first attempt at a sensory table setup i am so happy with everything i did in this setup!

My little friends all did amazing work on their fall trees today!

Around the first week of September we found 3 monarch caterpillars!
We brought them inside and made them a little habitat so we could watch them over the next few weeks as they turned into butterflies!

We talked about their life cycle as we watched them grow, of course reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar many times along the way!
(If you know any other caterpillar books please lmk for next year 😅)
I was so happy that the butterflies came out of their chrysalists on a daycare day, so we were all able to see and enjoy them before releasing them!
