Public School financing is complex. One important thing to know is that the Utah legislature has approved the voucher system in Utah; even after a
Public referendum rejected it, with $8000 for each student who chooses something other than public education.
The Utah State legislature supports basic public school students at a tune of 4,494$ WPU(weighted pupil unit=$per student)
All the money is taxpayer money. All students are important aren’t they? So why would they short change public education students?!?!? Give every student in utah $8,000, public or private!!!!
