Pioneer is a very tech friendly school. We have SMART Boards and document cameras in every room. This provides a very engaging education for our students.

The faculty is very adept at incorporating technology into the learning experience.

💍 Wedding Bells Are Ringing in Kindergarten for Q and U! 💍

Love is in the air! After spending so much time together, Q and U have decided it's finally time to tie the knot!

If you've ever noticed, Q almost never goes anywhere without U. They're the best of friends and make the perfect team. Whether they're in words like queen, quick, quilt, or quiet, you'll almost always find U right by Q's side.

To celebrate their special day, students learned about this famous letter pair and why they work so well together. Congratulations to the happy couple—Q & U—may they live happily ever after in words for years to come!

**Pioneer Joins the Statewide Read-a-thon!**

Pioneer teachers and staff celebrated the statewide Read-a-thon by reading fun Fall and Halloween-themed stories to students. The special event encouraged a love of reading while bringing the excitement of the season into the classroom. Thank you to our teachers and staff for making reading such a memorable experience for our students!

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! 🧹💙

With Aaron as our head custodian and Katie always jumping in to help, we truly are one of the luckiest schools in the district! From fixing toilets and mowing the lawn to cleaning up unexpected messes, taking care of teachers' needs, and even catching the occasional mouse (😉), they do it all with a smile.

Our school simply wouldn't run without everything they do behind the scenes. Thank you, Aaron and Katie, for your hard work, dedication, and the care you show our Pioneer family every single day.

We appreciate you both—you’re the best! 💙💛

Remembering 9/11

Pioneer Elementary came together to honor and remember those affected by the events of September 11. We began the day with a schoolwide moment of silence before students participated in meaningful activities throughout the school.

From creating remembrance art and writing thank-you notes to Officer Coleman, to researching the events of 9/11 and building timelines, our Roadrunners learned about courage, service, kindness, and the importance of never forgetting.

Pioneer's Kindergarteners Spread Patriotic Pride

The last two weeks have been a patriotic celebration for our Kindergarteners! Through singing patriotic songs and sporting their Kindy 500 cars, our students shared American pride, joy, and gratitude with not only our school and community, but also with the Veterans at the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home.

Their performances brought smiles to many faces as they honored and thanked those who have served our country. We are so proud of our Kindergarten students and teachers for representing our school with such kindness, enthusiasm, and patriotism!
