For every diaper sold of the Dream Catcher print a diaper donated will be to the Rebecca Foundation.
We are so excited to introduce our first ever diaper made in collaboration with The Rebecca Foundation's Cloth Diaper Closet: Dream Catcher!
This pattern has great meaning for The Rebecca Foundation's 12-year-old co-founder and namesake, Rebecca. The significance behind this pattern comes from her grandfather. It is an honor and homage to her heritage and beloved grandfather who’s passing came too soon; in October 2012, two-months after the foundation opened its doors. Sadly, he was never able to see the tremendous impact his granddaughter has had on so many families.
One night while talking with her parents about her family lineage, and the pride she has in where she comes from, Rebecca asked if there was a way to honour her grandfather and his Native American roots, which have been passed on to her. Amanda, Rebecca’s mother and co-founder suggested that Rebecca design a pattern for a diaper. After some thought, consulting with multiple sources for accuracy and significance, and a meeting with Nicki’s Diapers, the Dream Catcher pattern was born from a collaborative effort from all.
