Well done brothers and sisters.
Firefighters from B shift had the special opportunity to meet a very special person! Last month while working in Roy City, Tracy went into cardiac arrest. By-standers called 911; paramedics and EMTs from Roy showed up. When they arrived, they discovered Tracy had gone into ventricular fibrillation (bad heart rhythm) and his heart was not beating correctly. After high quality CPR & defibrillation (shocking his heart,) his heart started beating correctly and medical personnel transported him to a local hospital. After a short stay in the hospital Tracy is now home and has no deficits.
This demonstrates the importance and effectiveness of high quality CPR that can be provided by anyone. It was an honor to meet you Tracy!
