🏊‍♀️ Spring Swimming Lessons Interest Check! 🏊‍♂️

WSU Charter Academy is exploring the possibility of offering swimming lessons for our students this spring at the Stromberg Complex on the Weber State University campus.

Lessons would take place during the school day and would be taught by a Red Cross-certified swim instructor. Our goal is to provide students with an opportunity to build water safety skills, confidence, and basic swimming skills in a fun and supportive environment.

At this time, we are simply trying to determine how many families would be interested in having their child participate.

💜 If you would be interested in spring swimming lessons for your child, please comment below or contact the school office.

More information about scheduling, transportation, cost, and permission forms will be shared once we know there is enough interest.

We are excited about another opportunity to use Weber State University resources to create meaningful learning experiences for our Junior Wildcats! 🐾

We are so proud of Mrs. Yeates!

WSU Charter Academy is excited to celebrate Mrs. Alyson Yeates-Linford on her nomination for Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Yeates pours so much heart into her classroom and into each of her students. She creates a space where children feel known, supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Her dedication to our Junior Wildcats and her commitment to meaningful, high-quality learning make a difference every single day.

We are incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Yeates as part of our WSU Charter Academy family, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her recognized with this well-deserved nomination.

Please help us congratulate Mrs. Yeates! 🎉🐾💜

🤐 Shhh! Keep the big arrival a total secret from the kids—we can't wait to see the looks on their faces when it happens!

Share these three hints with them today:
1️⃣ It flies high up in the sky, but it doesn't have wings like a regular airplane! ❌✈️
2️⃣ It has giant, spinning blades on its roof that go spin-spin-spin to lift it straight up into the air! 🌪️
3️⃣ This specific one is a special, powerful military vehicle used for brave rescue missions and important jobs!

🎖️HINT FOR THE ADULTS: It rhymes with "Slack Hawk"! 😉Get ready for an exciting day tomorrow!
