While our cosmetology competitors may not have brought home a medal this year, making it to nationals is an incredible accomplishment in itself. They represented our program, our school, and the state of Utah with talent, courage, and heart. We could not be more proud of the hard work, long hours, and dedication they showed every step of the way. To us, they are champions for making it to nationals and giving it everything they had. ✨

And a huge congratulations to our nail competitor, Tyra Coats, for bringing home a 🥇 GOLD MEDAL! Your talent, determination, and hard work paid off, and we are so proud of you for representing us at the national level.

No matter the outcome, this experience was about growth, learning, and pushing beyond comfort zones. Nationals changes you, and these students should be so proud of how far they’ve come. ❤️

Today was the big day! After a full day of competition with an updo and 3 haircuts, these girls did incredible and we could not be more proud of them. ❤️

Now we leave it in the hands of the judges and will see tomorrow how it all turns out, but no matter what, they are already champions. The growth, hard work, and everything they learned through this experience is something no one can take away.

There’s no winning and losing… only winning and learning. So proud of you girls! ✨

Day 2 complete! Colored mannequins all day and ended the night at a Atlanta Braves game ⚾️ So much fun, lots of memories, and still more to come!

Orientation, testing, lots of laughs, and a fun night at the aquarium with the dolphin show to kick off SkillsUSA Nationals! Such a fun way to start the week with this crew.

Now it’s time for Day 2… let the coloring begin! 🎨✂️ We are excited and ready!

Amy has worked so hard to get to this moment, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything she has accomplished. But she’s not done yet… on Monday, she heads to Atlanta to represent us and the state of Utah at the national level competing in the NATIONALS competition 🇺🇸✂️
