New Bridge School for STEM Education

This Friday, January 16th, New Bridge students will be celebrating winter and reading with our first Read with a Reindeer day! Students are encouraged to dress warmly, as we will be reading outside with the reindeer. We can't wait to celebrate this fun day with our students.

Book fair begins today! There are many ways to shop the fair this year! You can shop online, add money to a digital book fair eWallet, or shop in person. All in-school purchases over $50 will receive a FREE tote bag. The fair is open today during our Grand Lunch events, or tomorrow and Thursday until 7:00pm. RSVP for our GRAND lunch events! Students may bring someone GRAND to eat lunch with next week, beginning on Tuesday, October 7th through Thursday, October 9th. Please note: Tuesday is a regular, full-day school schedule, so lunch times will be different than Wednesday and Thursday's lunch schedule, which will be a half day for students. Please look at the lunch times carefully to avoid confusion. If you have additional questions, please reach out to your child's teacher for any lunch time clarifications. First grade students had so much fun finishing their Plant and Bee unit with their families at First Grade Family STEM Day. First graders learned about the relationship between plants and bees, heard from a local beekeeper, and created their own bee pollinator garden by coding their Ozobots. 5th Grade Family STEM Day is next-- October 15 at 9-10am! TONIGHT is literacy night! Bring the whole family to celebrate our book, Just Harriet! Our FREE activities begin at 5:00pm and end at 7:00pm. You won't want to miss out on this fun evening. See you tonight at 5:00pm!

It's time for our first attendance winner spirit day! With an incredible average of 97% attendance last week, Mrs. Maurer's Kindergarten class has won the weekly attendance competition!

As the winning class, they've chosen this Friday's spirit theme to be Comfy Clothes Day. All students in grades K-6 are invited to participate.

Students in Ms. Wix’s 6th grade class designed and 3D printed their own bubble wands for field day! We had a lot of fun testing them out and making sure they work for summer!

Congratulations to all our 3rd-6th graders who competed at the district’s STEM & Computer Science Olympiad! 6th grade placed third overall! We are so proud of everyone’s hard work!

We had the best time at our STEM Fest last week! Thank you to all of our community partners, parents, families, teachers, and students who made this night possible.
