Congrats to our 2 winners from our raffle this weekend! Thank you to everyone who donated! Also a HUGE thank you to our donors! All proceeds will go to our local veterans!💜

We are so excited for our BIG raffle ticket giveaway tomorrow night at the football tailgate before the homecoming game! We will be selling tickets to be entered in to win one of two gift baskets worth $700 in prizes! Tickets will be sold for $2 a piece and the winners will be chosen and contacted later during the game.

All proceeds from the raffle used to purchase items that will be placed into care packages for Shoeboxes for Veterans (Sponsored by Veterans Upward Bound) located in Ogden. We will be able to purchase clothing, hats, gloves, and toiletry items to fill these boxes to be donated. The donations will be delivered to homeless and nursing home veterans within the community. Our program is excited to work with this association and to give back to our community.

If you are unable to attend the tailgate, no worries we will have an opportunity to enter online as well! Keep an eye out for more information and instructions that will be posted on our instagram story tomorrow morning!

Loving a drug addict or an active alcoholic is the hardest thing you will ever do. Watching someone you love, who has fought so hard to beat addiction, throw everything away and sink back into a life that will most likely lead to jail or death, is one of the hardest things you will ever do. All you wanted was to help them back to a clean and sober life but you realize by doing this, as you have before, will now just be enabling them because it will show them that you will always be there to bail them out. You want to grab and shake them and say "What are you doing?!?!" But, at some point you realize that it wouldn't make a difference. So you sit back and watch the tragedy unfold, as if you are watching a movie. Feeling helpless to stop it, feeling like you haven't done enough to help, even though you know only the addict can help themselves.
Having to disconnect yourself from them to save yourself from plunging into the abyss with them. It’s one of the hardest things you will ever experience. You love them from afar and keep praying that they will find their way.
Battling a drug and/or an alcohol addiction is a beast for the person addicted and the ones who love them. So l am asking you to stand with me for every family member and friend who has lost or is losing their battle with drugs and alcohol and those who continue to conquer it!

September is National Recovery Month! Put this on your page if you know someone who has or had an addiction. Many will be hesitant to!!!

Some of you won't, but I think I know the ones who will.

Who doesn’t love back to school night?! Some of our wonderful seniors were able to go to multiple back to school nights in our community both elementary and junior high schools! They loved being able to share the importance of oral health😁
