Gavin and Bek had the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at the Iowa Cubs game today! 🇺🇸🎶⚾️

They did a fantastic job and represented Ogden and our music program so well. We are incredibly proud of them!

Over the past week, we had 13 of our students attend the Wartburg College Meistersinger Camps and Festivals All-State Camps! Students spent time learning the All-State music and having a ton of fun in preparation for auditions in October. We wish these students the best of luck and can’t wait to see how they grow through the All-State process! 🎶

We had a great first marching band rehearsal today with our freshmen and student leaders, and I’m excited to get the rest of the OHS Band together for another great year!

Our upcoming rehearsals:
🥁 Thursday, Aug. 6
• Drumline/Percussion: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Brass & Woodwinds: 1:00–3:00 PM

📅 Full Band Rehearsals
• Aug. 11-13 & 17-18
• 1:00–3:00 PM

All rehearsals are at Ogden MS/HS.

Come prepared with your instrument, music, flip folder, lyre, water bottle, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, bug spray, and old tennis shoes that can get dirty.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting our marching show started! 🎵💙

Thank you to all who supported us during RAGBRAI on Tuesday! We have leftover slices of fruit pie that we are looking to get rid of today! You can stop by the Middle/High School from 3:00-5:00 and grab what you would like for free or free will donation! 🥧🎵
