Big news!
After 7 beautiful years in business, I officially closed my doors last week.
This decision carries so many layers—most deeply personal to the past few years of growth as both a human and an entrepreneur. I gave everything I had to keep Honeybee going, and while it breaks my heart to say goodbye, I know I took this sweet, precious, wholesome community as far as I could on my own.
I first joined Honeybee as a teacher, working alongside our beloved founder just before her cross-country move. I’ll always be grateful for the love she showed me and the incredible school she built—one that launched my personal and professional journey into overdrive.
Following my heart into this path was the greatest gift of my 20s and early 30s. For the last 10 years, Honeybee has been deeply woven into the fabric of my life, and closing this chapter is one of the hardest, most bittersweet decisions I’ve ever made.
To every parent, every family member, and every little honeybee—thank you. You gave me purpose. You trusted me with your most precious humans. You made this more than a school—you made it my community.
I’ve grown more through teaching and learning about the outdoors, human connection and how our tiny humans learn than I ever imagined possible. And while I’m proud of what I built, I know none of it would’ve happened without you.
Honeybee may be closing, but the love and memories will always stay with me. If we’ve crossed paths over the years, I’d truly love to hear from you anytime. 💛
With deep gratitude,
Erika🐝
