In response to the disruptions caused by COVID-19, Yale will temporarily suspend its requirement that first-year applicants submit results from the ACT or SAT.

University of California Will End Use of SAT and ACT in Admissions

Like many of our IB students, Liesl Doxey is involved in the Ogden High community in a variety of ways. She was a member of the varsity Volleyball team, French Club, National Honor Society and Seminary Council. Her extended essay explored how does climate change affect polar bears in the Arctic Circle? Liesl plans to attend Weber State University in the fall.

Isabel Barrera was Tennis Team Captain and a member of the National Honor Society. Izzy took 1st place in Third Singles at the Region 10 Girls Tennis Championships! Her extended essay investigated ways the class system of To Kill a Mockingbird shaped the main character, Scout Finch. Isabel plans to attend the The University of Utah in the fall.

Samuel Boehm is a driven athlete, hard working student and a talented artist. He has participated in both indoor and outdoor Cross Country and Track for 5 years. He was MVP and Team Captain for Cross Country and Track. His art work was selected as Best of Show for Ogden and Weber School District. He has served his community as a member of the National Honor Society and Co-President of the Environmental Club. His extended essay was analysis of the company values of Adidas as shown through their "Here to Create" add campaign. Samuel plans to study business at IE University in Spain in the fall.
