Another successful Research in Progress! 🤩 Thanks to the Neuroscience Club for teaching us about how stress affects the amylase and cortisol values in populations, as well as Cal for presenting on A. baumannii and how metals can be implemented in treating antibiotic resistant bugs 🦠

On March 21st, 1877, Louis Pasteur began working on the first ever anthrax vaccine to combat the infectious bacteria, Bacillus anthracis. 🔬 Two months later, Pasteur used the vaccine on cows and sheep which showed efficacy of the vaccine as opposed to the control group who was not innoculated. The vacccine would jumpstart the discovery of the rabies vaccine. 💉
