A few important reminders:

✅ Mail ballots must be RECEIVED by Election Day—not just postmarked.

✅ If you’re returning your ballot close to June 23, use an official ballot drop box to ensure it arrives on time.

✅ Don’t forget to include the last four digits of your driver’s license or state ID where required. Missing information could delay or prevent your ballot from being counted.

That is why UEA’s Summer Learning Institute shares practical learning around what many of us are carrying right now: burnout, classroom behavior, resiliency, instructional support and tools for the year ahead. Register by May 30 (in bio/comments)

The first 200 participants who complete the required registration steps and attend SLI will receive useful swag, including a $50 Minky Couture gift card. (thanks Minky!)

Hotel accommodations may be available for qualifying members traveling from outside the area, but registration is needed as soon as possible.

OEA leadership proudly attended the UEA House of Delegates on Saturday, May 9, joining educators from across Utah to help shape the future of our union and public education.

Delegates heard from Utah’s 2025 Teacher of the Year, voted on important bills, approved the budget and legislative platform, and collaborated on behalf of educators, students, public schools, and our communities.
