Senior Jacob Kruse has been working hard at KC Nielsen this year! Jacob has learned a lot and will go to John Deere school in the fall. He will then continue employment at KCN. We are thankful for this partnership with KC Nielsen in Harcourt! Keep up the great work Jacob!!

Our iJAG students had the opportunity to go to Build my Future on Wednesday at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. They had an amazing day participating in lots of different hands on stations about lots of different careers. Thanks iJAG for this opportunity!

Look what our Entrepreneurship class did with some Work Based Learning opportunities! OHS students went to Innovate U to partner up with some Boone EDGE students to do a Shark Tank type business pitch for the day. The day included small business owners as guest speakers and entrepreneurs as group mentors. Groups then presented their ideas to a panel of judges where they competed against each other. The day was a big success and our Bulldogs did incredible work. Thanks Mr. Smith for partnering with WBL on this awesome day!

At the end of January Ogden High School was awarded the for our Work-Based Learning program. The money will help boost the Work-Based Learning program with supplies, training and professional development. It is going to be a great way to support our students!! We are thrilled and so thankful for this opportunity!

We have been looking to partner with local businesses to get our students more hands on experiences and Boone County Conservation Board delivered! In the fall some students went out and harvested and collected various seeds. Recently the results were mailed to OHS and our students made a big impact at Don Williams! Thanks for all of your hard work students!

WOW! Way to go Ogden Community! This is a huge step and benefit for our students here! And now the whole state knows what we already knew--Bulldogs rule!

The 2022 School Mascot Challenge finals results are in, and it was close until the finish, just 13 votes separated the two schools!🏆

Congratulations to our winner, Ogden Community School District!🎉

Their school will be awarded $1,000 to use on a student health and wellness project. Thank you to all of the schools who participated and all of the people who voted! Be sure to join us next year!

We are looking forward to our first trip to Design Dash in Iowa City next week. Students will be challenged to collaborate in groups to problem solve real world business/design/technology issues. It will be an early morning for students (and staff ;) ) but completely worth it!!
