Meet our Infants teacher, Bo! They have been with us since June of 2022. Bo is a patient, soft spoken teacher who can often be seen reading to the children. Bo says that their favorite part of working with the kids is seeing the kids personalities blosson. Their favorite part of working at our Terrace center is how supportive their coteachers with each other. Thank you Bo!

Meet Destinee!
Miss Destinee has been working with us since April of 2022. Destinee loves spending time with her family, and specially her daughter. Destinee loves working in our center because she feels like she is with her family! She loves working with the kids because she is fulfilled by watching them grow and develop their personalities.
Destinee and her daughter Amelia help us keep our Discovery family strong! Thank you Destinee!

For our next spotlight we want to give Miss Brynn a shout out! Brynn is almost at a whole year with our Discovery team! Miss Brynn is our afternoon preschool teacher. Her favorite part of working with the kids is conversations she has with them every day, and the stories that they share with her. Miss Brynn is scheduled to graduate high school early in less than a month and will be continuing her education in teaching. In her free time she likes to watch shows and write. Thank you Miss Brynn!!

Hello!

Just wanted to put out the word that we are still accepting orders for this week’s fundraiser! We have 8 X 8 pans of brownies available! The flavors will be chocolate for $10 and Andes mint brownies for $12!

All earnings are going to our Sub for Santa funds for a family here at our school. Thank you for your support!

For our next staff highlight: It’s me! My name is Pollett. I’ve been working at Discovery Terrace since December 9th, 2021 & I’ve been working with Discovery since 2018.

My first position was a preschool teacher at the Harrison Discovery location. With some excellent mentors and friends alongside me, I am now here 4 years later as the Terrace Director 💁🏻‍♀️

My favorite part of my job is being able to provide new experiences for children & making sure their needs are met every single day. In my free time, I like to try new restaurants with my husband & I love playing video games 🎮

During this season of gratitude we want to share why we love Miss Ane! She works with all of our age groups but specially enjoys the toddlers, and twos. She loves her family and spends most her free time with her loved ones. Ane has been part of our group since October of 2021! Her favorite part of working in our center is go through their different development stages from infants, to having conversations with kids who could not fully talk a year ago! She’s always up on her feet playing with the kids, coloring a picture, helping a friend. Thank you, Ane!

Our First Anual Parent Thanksgiving lunch was a huge success! We have had such a fun time getting to know you guys more and love sharing these moments with you. Thank you for your support!

Our amazing Gabbie has been working with our kids since October 2021. Gabbie works with all of our age groups but most recently helped host the School age summer camp program! Prior to that she helped the center achieve the high quality School Age program award for our center for the excellent care during CCQS rating seasons. Gabbie loves road-trips, is free spirited, kind, and above all patient. Gabbie loves connecting individually with the children and recognizes that each child is different and loving them for who they are. Thank you Gabbie!
