🏈 Friday Night Football is here! 💜💛

As we cheer on our Huskies, we want our football games to be a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please review these expectations with your students before attending:

🐾 PK–4 students must enter with an adult and remain in the stands with an adult throughout the game.

🐾 5th–8th grade students must remain in the designated student section or sit in the stands with an adult.

🐾 Please be respectful of game staff, players, and fellow spectators.

🚫 No footballs are allowed inside the stadium.

Thank you, families, for helping us create a positive environment where everyone can enjoy the game and cheer on our Huskies!

While visiting the LHLC library, Mrs. Judd's class listened to The Pigeon HAS to go to School and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Then students used 'roads' (ramps) to make their 'busses' (marbles, plastic eggs, wooden dowels, etc) drive fast and drive slow. Students loved exploring ramps!

🍎 Meet Mrs. Lori Decker, our new Kindergarten Special Education teacher!

While Mrs. Decker may be new to Little Husky Elementary this year, she is no stranger to Oelwein! After previously teaching in the district for 14 years, she is excited to return to the classroom and begin building relationships with our students and families.

Mrs. Decker looks forward to celebrating every little victory and helping each child feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome back to the Oelwein Husky family! 💜💛
