BIG NEWS! Our 2nd Annual Kids Business Expo is coming!

This year, The Schoolhouse has partnered with the VFW to make this an even BIGGER event for our children and our community!

We are inviting ALL young entrepreneurs to come out, showcase their ideas, build their confidence, and experience what it’s like to run their very own business.

Our children are our future, and sometimes all they need is someone to believe in their ideas and encourage them to DREAM BIG!

That’s exactly what this Business Expo is about giving kids the opportunity to create, learn, grow, and be proud of something they built themselves.

Whether they’re selling handmade crafts, treats, artwork, jewelry, services, or their next BIG idea we want them there!

Let’s show these young entrepreneurs that our community believes in them.

A huge thank you to Jessica and Tyler for helping us with the playground area this weekend ❤️

It may seem like a small gesture, but to us, it speaks a thousand words. Having people who genuinely show up and support these kids means more than you know.

From the classroom to the playground, it doesn’t matter where the help is needed you’re there. Time is one of the most valuable things you can give someone, and every time you choose to give yours to our kids and The Schoolhouse, we notice it and we appreciate it.

It truly takes a village, and we’re so thankful you’re part of ours. ❤️

Let your creativity shine and show us what America means to you! No art experience is needed, just bring your imagination and patriotic spirit!

Y’all, let me brag on our senior for this year, Katelynn Allen!

Katelynn just turned 16, and she is on track to finish her high school core curriculum this December, and her Associate in May! Watching her work toward this has honestly been such an amazing thing to witness!

Katelynn, I want you to know just how proud we are of you. Not just because of what you are accomplishing academically, but because of how hard you have worked to get here. We have watched you push through, struggle, adjust, get frustrated, pick yourself back up, and keep going. You could have given up so many times, but you didn't.

From the first day I met you until now, so much has changed. We have had our struggles, our adjustments, and our moments where things weren't easy. But through all of it, you have continued to grow, and I have had the privilege of watching you become the young woman you are today.

You are a blessing, Katelynn. I truly believe God has something incredibly special planned for your life, and I am so thankful that The Schoolhouse gets to be a small part of your journey.

We still have a road ahead of us, and there will still be things we have to conquer together, but I pray we continue taking every step one at a time and celebrating every victory along the way.

Keep going, kiddo. Don't ever forget how far you've already come.

The Schoolhouse is behind you 100% of the way, and Momma Shanda Allen will always be right there cheering you on.
