Congratulations to our seniors! We are so proud of your years of hard work and dedication. Best of luck as you head into very promising futures!
Kyler Eriksen: His year’s stage manager has been on the stage crew for three shows (in one of which he also made a brief on stage appearance). Kyler intends to go to either SUNY Geneseo or St. John Fisher to major in secondary history education.
Maddy Raymond: This was Maddy’s fourth show running the light board. She plans to attend TC3 for either business or sports management.
James Halpin: James has been a spotlight operator for four shows. He plans to attend Purdue University as part of their exploratory stories program.
Alex Campbell: Alex appeared in eight musicals here at OMCS. He will attend either the Crane School of Music or the Music Conservatory at SUNY Purchase to major in flute performance.
Congratulations seniors! Thank you for all you have done for our program here at OMCS.

Friday the 13th…? In the middle of Act 2 we lost power and only had what the generator would provide. For some crazy reason that might make sense to an electrician but not to us, the generator allowed two lights on stage to work but no other lights (except one random house light that was providing an unwanted strobe effect). And the mics worked! 🤪
We were so proud of the kids. When the lights went out they never hesitated, just kept going and did a song, a scene, and another song before Mrs. Campbell interrupted to tell the audience what happened and that she was going to try to figure out a solution. Without power there really wasn’t a good one, but we plugged the spotlights in to a working outlet and used them to illuminate the stage and kept going. (With that random house light that kept strobing.) Power has been restored and we will be good to go for our next two shows!
