Some stories come full circle.

As a child, Diane Crawford walked the halls of Sam Houston Elementary - ECISD as a student. Decades later, she is retiring from the very same school after 30 years of service as its secretary.

Through generations of students, families, and staff, Diane became a familiar face and a steady presence at Sam Houston. As she begins her next chapter, we celebrate her dedication, her legacy, and the countless lives she touched along the way.

Congratulations to Julie Loera, Multi-Classroom Leader at Pease Elementary, and Marilu Chavez and Monica Olivas, Multi-Classroom Leaders at Bowie Middle School, on earning their Master of Education degrees from Texas A&M University through the School of Education and Human Development.
