After a long fight, Master Cotton Hayes bowed out to go be with his wife on 1-12-25.. He originated Tukong Martial Arts Odessa in 1986, which has served the Permian Basin for almost forty years. Also known for his sign shop Cotton's Studio, which he started in 1974.. Dad was nationally known for his pinstriping and unique designs on signs. He was the oldest sign painter in town, that really used paint before moving into wraps, decals, banners, n lettering trucks with vinyl. As he always ventured into a new direction with wielding or his wood works. He was a creator; the man could literally build anything just with a thought or a sketch..

Tukong was what we did in the evenings. For four decades he has dedicated his days to a style that he believed in more than any. Having many degrees from various styles, he only claimed one. Working his way to the top rank of 7th degree, he was known as Master Hayes.

To the ones that know Cotton, his wife Pam, and his son DJ...
You all know the love and the connection we had as one.
Whatever time you were there training with us...
You know the flow.

As I bowed my Dad out one more time solo...

The days are hard.. Yet, We Keep Moving Forward.

We don't post much, Yet you must know...

The one behind the whole plan has moved on to a better land...
Miss Pam passed away last week after a long fight with cancer..
She was diagnosed six years ago with only six months left yet kept pushing forward through her faith and belief. Her positive mindset and bright outlook on life always changed perspectives for all that were around her. From all the kids in the Dojo, to all the sports, till her final eight years working at Sam's.. She helped everybody.. Mom showed moms how to be better moms...
Always helping others have a better day..

Her guiding light will shine through many..
As she will always be missed and never forgotten..

We will have a memorial for her July 6th
Highlighting her life and the dedication to Tukong!

For almost forty years she helped build Tukong.
It wouldn't be, without her..
