🌸 Morning Tales in the Garden: Bloom Into the School Year! 📚

We kicked off our first session with our Executive Director, Celeste Potter, reading Clever Trevor!

Then we’re taking the story into the Inspiration Station, where kids can put what they learned about fulcrums, levers, and loads into action by building marshmallow launchers and aiming for the basketball hoops! 🏀

Join us TOMORROW, August 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a morning of family fun, learning, and exploration!

Start your adventure with a walk through Crump Park, where community partners will provide interactive math and science activities, including a Mobile Planetarium and other hands-on STEM experiences. Then, head across the street to the ECISD Development Office to explore the Inspiration Station before making your way to the Reading Garden for story time at 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. with Celeste Potter, Executive Director of the Education Foundation, reading Clever Trevor.

The Inspiration Station is back and ready for another amazing school year of hands-on STEM adventures!

We had a fantastic start to the season with two incredible community events!

📍 Headlee Boys & Girls Club
In partnership with Prosperity Bank, students explored financial literacy by programming Ozobots through financial decision-making routes, learning the importance of making smart money choices.

📍 Super Saturday at First Presbyterian Church
Families put their engineering, creativity, and teamwork skills to the test with LEGO Bug Bot Races, Boomwhackers, and Breakout EDU challenges.

We’re excited for another year of bringing STEM learning to schools and our community events across our area!
