OCA Families - ECISD has asked us to share this information concerning busses. If you requested bus transportation but did not get an email concerning bus routes and pick up times, please use the QR code or use the email in the flier. Do not go to the transportation office. We do not recommend calling the transportation office either as their phones are jammed with calls and are often busy or unavailable to answer. Only those who registered in Focus Parent Portal and requested bus service will receive it. For further concerns, please email the OCA principal with your student’s name and ID #, and he and the OCA office staff can help you find out bus information for OCA students sometime during the day and after school. His email is [email protected] Please think about a back up plan to school the first day or two of school if you do not receive a bus transportation email. Thank you for your patience as we begin school.

OCA Families- we emailed these documents to you Saturday & are now posting them on our FB page. Please note the parent meetings with Juniors beginning Wednesday, the evening of the 1st day of school. Please also read the other documents as you get ready for school this week. It is important that you and your student are prepared for the 1st day of school. Freshmen begin Tuesday, August 11th at 8 am in the auditorium. 10th, 11th, & 12th grade students begin Wednesday, August 12th, at 8 am, in the auditorium. We will hand out schedules there. OCA has a few extra t-shirts from past graduating classes in larger sizes L - 3XL. Before we discard them, if you want a t-shirt from past years, please come by our main office and pick it up.

OCA Families- as a reminder, Online Registration in Focus Parent Portal is REQUIRED before school begins August 11th. Students who are not registered will not have a schedule the first day of class and will be sent home. If you need help with registration, please call our main office at 432-456-6429 between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. If you are struggling with technology, you may also come by our main office and our office staff with help you with your registration. Shoutout to our student leaders for helping our freshmen all 4 days of Summer Bridge!! They gave up 4 days of their summer (what’s left of it) and led our new Freshmen with campus tours, attendance, getting them to and from TSI testing & ID pics, and helping with Team Building Day. Thank you student leaders!! Y’all rock!!

A special thanks to our 2026-27 Booster Officers for helping with the watermelon feed and providing the obstacle course jumper for our Freshmen during Team Building Day of Summer Bridge.
