The purpose of the Students in Philanthropy (SIP) program is to inspire and educate students to become philanthropic leaders, now and in the future. SIP provides students’ the opportunity to improve the quality of life in their communities by learning about community need, the role of nonprofit organizations in meeting those needs, and the importance of philanthropy in bettering the lives of all people.

Applications are open for the 2023-24 Students In Philanthropy Scholarship. Applicants must maintain a 2.75 GPA, complete at least 9 hours of coursework, and be available to meet every Thursday from 11am-noon. This is a full-year scholarship and is worth $1500 (paid at the END of each semester after all criteria have been met).

Their grant to Basin Theatre Works made it possible for our production of "Finding Nemo Jr." to occur this summer. Not only are we grateful for this program and its students that participate in it, we are proud to know that these young leaders are invested in the cultural vibrancy of our city.
