Mandatory parent meeting: August 23rd at 6:30pm in the cafeteria

Mandatory junior & senior moms or guardian meeting: August 23rd following parent meeting (it will be quick).

Team Sleepover: August 23rd at 7:30pm. All information in the attached photo.

First High School Volleyball Practice: August 24th 8:00am-11:00am

We’re getting close to volleyball season! 🧡🖤 Before our first practice on August 24th, please make sure the following are taken care of:

✅ FinalForms: All forms and information need to be completely up to date.

✅ Sports Physical: Players must have a current physical on file with the school before they can participate in practice. Please get this turned in ahead of time so everyone is cleared and ready to go on Day 1!

Our team sleepover will be the evening of August 23rd in the high school gym! 🏐🎉 This will be a fun way for the girls to kick off the season together before our first official practice the next morning.

Hi everyone! Here is the link to order our Odessa Volleyball team shirt for this season:

All players are required to have one. This is the shirt we’ll wear to some of our away matches so we’re all matching as a team.

If purchasing a shirt is a financial hardship, please text me privately. We want every player to have one, and I will make sure you get one.

Orders must be placed by Monday July 6th so we have them in time for the season.

Parents are absolutely welcome to order one too! We will also be opening our full team/fan store later this summer with more apparel options for everyone. We just wanted to get these team shirts ordered first so they’ll arrive before the season starts.

This Week’s Schedule Update

Tuesday, June 30
Volleyball Practice: 7:30-9:00 AM in the Big Gym

No practice — everyone enjoy the beach and have a great holiday week! ☀️🏖️

No basketball this week.

I know many of our girls will be gone this week for FBLA, but if you are in town and can make Tuesday morning’s practice, we will be doing a lot of individual technical work, so it will be a great opportunity to get some extra reps in and continue improving your skills!

Summer League Volleyball & Basketball Start Next Week! 🏀🏐

A few adjustments were made from the original calendar, here’s our updated schedule for next week:

🏐 Volleyball Practice: 7:15 AM–8:30 AM (Big Gym)
🏀 Basketball Practice: 8:30 AM–9:30 AM (Multi)

Incoming 8th graders are welcome to join our summer league practices! If your athlete will be entering 8th grade this fall and would like to participate, please send me a text (509-641-2127) so I can add both athletes and parents to our group text for updates.

Our current summer schedule has been sent home with the athletes! Please note that dates and times are subject to change as we finalize plans. We will also be replace some Thursday practices with evening games against other towns when possible.

High School Girls Summer League Meeting 🏀🏐

Any girls entering 8th–12th grade in the fall who are interested in high school volleyball and/or basketball need to attend our Summer League Informational Meeting!

📍 Location: High School Library
📅 Date: June 4
⏰ Time: During the high school lunch period

At the meeting we will:
✔️ Hand out summer league packets
✔️ Go over summer schedules
✔️ Collect contact information
✔️ Answer questions about summer opportunities and expectations

Even if you’re still on the fence about playing during the season, please come! This is a great opportunity to get information, stay in the loop, and see what our girls athletics programs are all about.

Again, this is a dual meeting for both volleyball and/or basketball players. We are excited to continue building a strong, connected culture this summer for OHS girls volleyball and basketball!
