Indiana folks- have you seen this?

Ris spotted this in downtown Shelbyville, Indiana, and had to share it with me!

The bike rack spells SHELBY in ASL. From what I found, it was a Leadership Shelby County project, working with the Shelby County Chamber, City of Shelbyville, and Blue River Community Foundation.

But I’d love to know more about the story behind it. Who came up with the ASL idea? Were any Deaf people involved or consulted?

Anyone know more? Please share!
