UTPB Geology Club

Come out and join us at the 4th Annual Geoscience Symposium, tomorrow at the CEED building from 8 am to 12 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served, all are welcome and entrance is free.

Our next club meeting is tomorrow, March 19, at 6:00 pm! The meeting will be held in the Geosciences building, room 115. See y’all there 🙂

Club Day Spring 2021 was a SUCCESS 🤙🏽🧡

Geoclub will be participating in Club Day March 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. come stop by our table in the quad! Every student that stops by will be entered to win a very special mineral! 😊

The Geology Club at UTPB was able to send some of its members to Glen Rose for a weekend of fun ⚒️

Spending some time with current undergrads looking to go to grad school and these high schoolers from Snyder High School and showing them what UTPB is made of.

Hey everyone, the school year has officially started and it's time for a geology club meeting! The geology club right now only has a president (Jill Johnson) and is need of officers and members! If you are interested in being a member or officer please message the geology club. If we can get some officers then we can have ourselves a meeting. Officer positions available are VP, Treasurer and Social Media Officer.

Please share with your friends so we can continue to have a geology club at UTPB. Also, you do not have to be a geology major to be a geology club member.

UTPB Geology club will be attending the 60th Annual Exploration Meeting and BBQ this Thursday the 9th! We’ll be doing the mineral silent auction that day and we’ll have plenty of goodies to bid on.

SEG, AAPG and UTPB student chapter members attending and presenting their research at the AAPG Southwest Section Annual Convention!! Our presenters did amazing and our very own President Justin Yandell won the Best Poster award for the SWG AAPG Convention that was held last year. Great job you guys for representing UTPB!

Join the Geology Club, AAPG, and SEG for this semesters first combine chapter meeting this Friday (Jan 26th) from 6-7pm in the Geoscience lab ST #2216. Anyone is invited to attend we’ll be going over thing such as:

1)Appointing new officers
2)Talk about scholarships/travel grants
3)What each chapter is expected to do this semester
4)Attending meetings for WTGS and PBGS for example

We encourage students who are interested in these clubs to attend to find out about our upcoming activities and how to join if you’d like!
