📣 TONIGHT! OMS PTO MEETING

We’d love to see some new (and familiar!) faces tonight! ❤️🖤

📅 Tonight — September 21
⏰ Meeting starts at 5:30 PM
🚪 Doors open at 5:20 PM
📍 OMS Library — enter through the front doors
🍪 Snacks provided!

Come hear what PTO has been up to, share your ideas, and help us talk through some fun things we’d like to do for our students and school this year.

And remember — coming to one PTO meeting does NOT mean you’re signing up for every meeting, every event, or every volunteer opportunity. 😂 Come when you can. Participate how you can. We’re just happy to have you!

Kids are welcome to come along if needed, too.

Hope to see you tonight! 🐾❤️🖤

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, PARENTS — IT’S FRIDAY! We survived another week! 😂🙌

Quick favor as we get ready for our PTO meeting Monday at 5:30 PM in the OMS Library — can you give me a quick 👍 or comment below if you’re planning to join us?

We’re going to have snacks, and I’d love to get a rough headcount so we make sure we have enough for everyone! 🍪

And PLEASE don’t let childcare keep you from coming! Kids are absolutely welcome to come with you. We know everyone is juggling work, practices, activities, dinner, other kiddos and approximately 47 other things at any given moment. 😂 Bring them along!

Remember, coming to one PTO meeting does not mean you’re signing your life away. 😉 Come hang out, hear what we’re working on, share your ideas, and have a snack!

👇 Who’s planning to be there Monday?

📣 HEY, OMS PARENTS — WE’RE MEETING IN THE EVENING! 🙌

You asked, we listened! Our next OMS PTO meeting will be:

📅 Monday, September 21
⏰ 5:30 PM
📍 OMS Library

We’re excited to finally be able to offer an evening meeting and are really hoping this makes it easier for more parents to join us!

We’ve got plenty to talk about, including:

👕 Results from our Spirit Wear Sale
🎬 Ideas for an upcoming Movie Night
💃 Possible School Dance
💰 Some BIG purchases we’d love to make for OMS this year
💡 Ideas for future events, fundraisers & ways PTO can support our students and staff
➕ And more!

And a very important reminder: Coming to ONE PTO meeting does not mean you’re signing up to come to every meeting for the rest of your life. 😂

Seriously. Come when you can. Participate as much or as little as your schedule allows.

We’d just love to have more parents in the room, hear your ideas, and find out what YOU would like to see happening at OMS.

No pressure. No huge commitment. Just parents working together to make OMS even better for our kids. ❤️🐾

We’d love to see you September 21 at 5:30!

📚 BOOK FAIR WEEK IS HERE! 📚

OMS students are officially getting their chance to shop the Book Fair this week! 🙌 And if your kid came home today with a mental list of approximately 47 things they absolutely need… here’s your reminder of when they’ll get to go back. 😂

📖 Wednesday: 6th & 7th grade
📖 Thursday: 8th grade
📖 Friday morning: One last chance for everyone to grab those final finds!

Happy Book Fair Week, Bulldogs! 🐾📚 And may the odds be ever in your favor when they ask for the giant eraser, mystery pen, AND the book. 😂

📸 PARENTS — CONSIDER THIS YOUR REMINDER!

If your head is spinning as much as mine is with school officially back in full swing… you might need this reminder too. 😂

OMS Picture Day is TOMORROW — Wednesday, September 9! 🐾📸

* Check your email or text alerts for ordering info.

So tonight, add “figure out what the kid is wearing for pictures” somewhere between homework, practices, dinner, laundry, and whatever else September has thrown at us. 😅

And maybe remind them to SMILE BIG!! 😁

See you looking sharp tomorrow, Bulldogs! ❤️🖤🐾

🚨 OMS SPIRIT WEAR — LAST CALL! 🚨

Tomorrow, Friday, September 4, is the LAST DAY to place your OMS Spirit Wear order! 🐾❤️

A quick payment update: Unfortunately, our OMS PTO Venmo account is temporarily unavailable due to a security/account verification issue. We are working to get it resolved, but in the meantime, Venmo payments cannot be accepted.

💵 Cash or check payments can still be dropped off at the OMS front office. Checks should be made payable to OMS PTO. Please make sure your name or your child’s name is with your payment.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone being flexible while we work through the issue!

📅 ORDER DEADLINE: Friday, September 4
👕 Orders will be ready the week of Homecoming and delivered at school.

And don’t forget — everyone who orders during the flash sale is automatically entered to WIN an Odessa hat! 🎉 (pictured)

Thank you so much for supporting OMS PTO and our students! 🐾

📣 OMS PTO MEETING TODAY!

We’re kicking off our first PTO meeting of the school year TODAY at 4:00 PM in the OMS Workroom! ❤️🐾

Whether you’re ready to jump in and help, have an idea you’d love to share, have questions, or simply want to meet some other OMS parents — you’re welcome! There’s no commitment required just because you come to a meeting. 😉

🕓 One of the things we’ll be discussing today is our PTO meeting time! We know 4:00 PM can be tough for working parents and families with busy schedules, so we want to talk about changing future meeting times to make PTO more accessible and allow more parents to be involved. We’d love your input!

Can’t make it today? That’s okay! We’ll be sharing the meeting agenda in our GroupMe so you can stay in the loop, share your thoughts, and get involved when it works for you.
