What a colorful afternoon! 🌈
Thank you to everyone who supported our PTO and helped make today’s Color Run such a fun event for the kids. They had an absolute blast!

A big thank you to our staff as well for helping make the afternoon run so smoothly. We appreciate all the support and loved seeing the kids have so much fun! 🎉

Parents… we know May is A LOT. 😅

Concerts, practices, games, awards, field trips, projects, end-of-school chaos… it feels like every single day has something on the calendar.

So here’s your reminder to give yourself a tiny breather on Friday afternoon and let the kids burn off some energy at the OMS PTO Color Run! 🌈🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Students will stay after school for an afternoon full of running, laughter, color powder, and fun with friends — and we’ll provide the snack and drink too!

✔️ After school until 3:45
✔️ Snack + drink included
✔️ Just $10
✔️ Kids go home colorful and hopefully a little more tired 😉

Send them in a white t-shirt they don’t mind getting messy and let us handle the fun for a bit!

OMS PTO is bringing the fun with our Color Run on Friday, May 8th! 🌈🏃‍♀️

Right after school, OMS students will hit the course while getting covered in bursts of bright color—it’s messy, it’s fun, and it’s one of the best events of the year!

💥 $10 registration includes:
✔️ Entry to the run
✔️ A snack + drink
✔️ A whole lot of FUN

👕 Pro tip: Wear a white t-shirt and watch it turn into a walking masterpiece!

It’s MAP testing time at OMS! 📝✨

Over the next few weeks, our students will be working hard to show what they’ve learned this year—and we’re cheering them on every step of the way! 💪

Here’s what to expect:
➡️ ELA Testing: April 13–17
➡️ Science (8th Grade): April 20–24
➡️ Math/EOC: April 27–May 1

A few simple ways to help your student feel confident and ready:
✔️ Get a good night’s sleep
✔️ Eat a solid breakfast
✔️ Arrive to school on time
✔️ Bring a charged Chromebook

Let’s help them walk in feeling prepared and walk out feeling proud. 🙌

We’ve made the decision to cancel our movie night—for now.

Between Easter weekend, a shortened school week, and spring sports kicking into full gear, we totally get it… this time of year is a lot for families.

We appreciate everyone who showed interest and supported the idea, and we’re already planning to bring this event back in the fall when schedules (hopefully!) slow down a bit.

Stay tuned—we’ll be back, bigger and better 🎬🍿

🎬🍿 OMS Movie Night is coming!

Let’s kick off MAP testing week with something FUN! Students are invited to hang out with friends, enjoy a movie, and relax after school.

📅 April 8
⏰ 3:15–5:15 PM

🎟 $10 admission includes:
✔️ Movie ticket
✔️ Pizza
✔️ Drink

🍬 Additional snacks available for $1.50 each

📝 Registration due by April 7

This is a great way for students to unwind, connect with friends, and ease into testing week. We hope to see them there!
