MILAM! We are back and hard at work to get our classrooms, school, and ourselves ready to see you! We want to give a HUGE "Thank You!" to our amazing PTA Milam Magnet Elementary PTA !! They provided our teachers with breakfast on our first day back and we could not be more thankful!! Our teachers will be doing their best to reach out tomorrow in between trainings to let you know who your child's teacher is! We know you're all so excited to know, and we are working hard to get you this information. If your teacher does not call you, do not panic! You will still be able to find out at Meet The Teacher! We will have class rosters posted for you to see. We cannot wait to see you all tomorrow from 5:00pm-6:00pm!

Last and most certainly not least, is our wonderful 5th grade team! Doing their best to make your last year of elementary school the BEST YEAR YET, and boy do they do it! We are so proud of the accomplishments these educators help our scholars achieve and we love having this team at Milam! Once a Meerkat, always a Meerkat! Go 5th grade!

4th grade!! Are you ready for school yet? We are! Meet your 4th grade team for the 2026-2027 school year! A 'Fantastic 4', if you will.. We are looking forward to watching these hard-working and dedicated teachers take control and give your student a wonderful and memorable year!

We'd like you to meet our dedicated and hard-working 3rd grade team, today! These educators are determined to give your student a wonderful school year and set them up for success during their first year of State Testing- it can be scary for some, but our amazing teachers have it covered!

This group of amazing educators are on a mission to provide your students with exciting experiences and new knowledge. They will continue to build on the educational foundation that will follow them through all their years, setting them up for success!

Good morning Milam Meerkats! We have 14 days left until the first day, we hope you're getting excited! Today we are showing off our hard-working and dedicated 1st grade team. These lovely ladies pour their heart and soul into their students and classrooms and let me tell you, IT SHOWS! We love having them on our campus and we know they can't wait to welcome you all back!

Our Kindergarten team is starting us off strong this week. They have classrooms that make each child feel welcome, provide meaningful learning experiences, build strong foundations, and spark your scholar's love for learning! We love our Kinder team and can't wait to see you all back soon! Don't forget-- Meet the Teacher is August 6th from 5pm-6pm!

Come out and meet your teacher on August 6th from 5PM-6PM! Our staff comes back August 4th and will be getting their classrooms prepared, in between their meetings and workshops, getting everything ready to welcome you all back! We look forward to seeing everyone there! Thank you for helping us start our school year off right!

Meet the Meerkat- There are only 15 days left until we see you all back at Milam for a new school year! Today, we'd like you to say "Hello!" to your 2026-2027 Pre-K team. These ladies are dedicated to making sure your scholar has the BEST first year of school, and they always deliver! We love having them as a part of our Milam family and we're excited to see all the wonderful things to come this year!

Our Meerkat highlight today is our Specialized Instruction Team! These educators go above and beyond for so many of our students, providing them with tailored, individualized support each day. They play an essential role in our scholars' educational journeys and we can't wait to see all the wonderful things they accomplish for Milam, and our students, during the 2026-2027 school year!
