🫶We love Sundays at Crossroads!!
Summer is over but it’s a NEW school year and NEW groups (for all kids entering Kindergarten - 5th grade) at Promotion Sunday August 9th!!

Have an amazing week - Jesus loves you!

On Sunday we wrapped up our month by learning about The Widow Who Would Not Give Up from Luke 18:1-8. Jesus taught us that we should keep praying and never give up, because God hears us and cares about us. Even when we don't see an answer right away, we can trust that God is always working.

Our Bottom Line was: God's kingdom grows when you pray and don't give up.

We also finished memorizing Romans 14:17 (NIrV): "God's kingdom is not about eating or drinking. It is about doing what is right and having peace and joy. All this comes through the Holy Spirit." What a great reminder that God's kingdom is about living the way He wants us to live!

This Sunday begins a brand new month with a new Bible story, a new Bottom Line, and a new memory verse!!! We can't wait to discover what God has to teach us next as we continue growing together in His love. We hope you'll join us- 9AM,10:30AM,12PM

This week, we learned about The Parable of the Bags of Gold from Matthew 25:14–30 and discovered this important truth: God’s kingdom grows when you use what He’s given you.

God has given each of us unique gifts, talents, and opportunities to serve Him and others. When we faithfully use what He's entrusted to us, we can make a big impact for His Kingdom!

Our monthly memory verse reminds us:
"God’s kingdom is not about eating or drinking. It is about doing what is right and having peace and joy. All this comes through the Holy Spirit." — Romans 14:17 (NIrV)

This past Sunday in Kids Ministry, we learned The Story of the Farmer from Matthew 13:1–23. We discovered that God's kingdom grows when we hear and do what He says. Just like seeds grow best in good soil, our hearts grow when we listen to God's Word and put it into practic!.

Our monthly memory verse is Romans 14:17 (NIrV):

This month's memory verse is a long one, but don't let that discourage you!!! You can learn it! Practice a little each day, and before you know it, you'll have it memorized. We can't wait to see everyone again next Sunday!

This Sunday, our kids explored the parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Value (Matthew 13:44–46) and discovered that loving God and His Kingdom is the most important treasure we could ever have. 💛

Our big question was: "What is most important?" The answer is simple...NOTHING is more valuable than a relationship with Jesus and living for His Kingdom!

As we wrapped up June, we also celebrated learning our monthly memory verse:
"May your kingdom come. May what you want to happen be done on earth as it is done in heaven." — Matthew 6:10 (NIrV)

We're so thankful for another month of growing in God's Word together and can't wait to see what He teaches us next! 🌟

This past Sunday, our kids learned about the lost sheep in Luke 15:1–7 and discovered an amazing truth: Jesus made a way for you to be part of God’s kingdom. 🐑❤️

Just like the shepherd searched for the one lost sheep, Jesus loves each of us and wants us to be part of God’s family. We talked about how no one is forgotten, no one is too far away, and Jesus rejoices when people come to Him!

Our memory verse this month is:
"May your kingdom come. May what you want to happen be done on earth as it is done in heaven." — Matthew 6:10

As we head into the rest of the week, we hope your family remembers this important truth: Jesus loves you, knows you, and made a way for you to belong in God's kingdom. ✨
